I may not be a recipe maker, but I AM a lazy cook. So I figured if I'm not going to share lazy recipes with you, I can at least share some lazy cooking tips that I've discovered along the way. Also, I just wanted to say thank you so much for the support from last week's post!

LAZY COOKING TIP #1: CROCK POT COOKING

No matter the season, using a slow cooker or crock pot is the ULTIMATE lazy cook's secret weapon. You simple put your food in it and walk away! Come home after a long day to meal waiting for you feast upon!

But in all seriousness, I love my crockpot. I have an entire Pinterest board dedicated to recipes to make in it. If I know it is going to be a busy week, I get ingredients for crockpot meals. If we are going to need chicken for salads, crockpot. If it's 100+°F outside for three months, CROCKPOT. It is my favorite kitchen tool. Now if I only had a rice cooker...

If you want to take the lazy up a notch, get crock pot liners. I was hesitant at first because it is basically a plastic bag you put in your crock pot–but I've long since given up the fear of it poisoning me in exchange for having a crockpot with nothing caked to its sides. It's a true game changer.
